Erasmus Program’s 30th Year

Foreign students studying in Turkey within the scope of “Erasmus Plus” program competed with popular dishes in their countries during an event held.

Foreign students studying in Turkey within the scope of “Erasmus Plus” program competed with popular dishes in their countries during an event held.

The Erasmus Office of the University of Ankara organized a food competition at Piri Reis Restaurant in Tandoğan Campus when celebrating the 30th anniversary of the program.

Students from China, Macedonia, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Azerbaijan, Albania, Bangladesh, Spain and Romania prepared dishes specific to their country’s cuisine.

The competition’s jury members were the University’s Rector Dr. Erkan İbiş, International Student Office Coordinator Dr. Sibel Süzen, faculty members and students

As a result of the voting, the food prepared by the student group from Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region was selected as the first place. The second was Iraq and the third was from Albania..
